What are the minimum computer system requirements to play WeMuv.com?
Windows Requirements:

I cannot access www.wemuv.com from school, but I can access it at home?
Some school boards have internet site restrictions on their school computer network. Please contact your school or board computer network administrator to allow access to www.wemuv.com.
I cannot see everything on the computer screen. Some items appear to be cut off.
If items do not appear to fit into your screen, follow the steps below to change your screen resolution:
If you are using Windows 98/2000/XP:
- 1. Go to the desktop of your computer.
- 2. Click on the right button on your mouse. Select “Properties”.
- 3. This will display your control panel, click on “Settings”.
- 4. Change your screen resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels or higher.
- 5. Click “OK.”
If you are using Windows Vista:
- 1. Go to the desktop of your computer.
- 2. Click on the right button on your mouse. Select “Personalize”.
- 3. Click “Display Settings”.
- 4. Change your screen resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels or higher.

Top Questions for Running the Challenge
I have received my PA Challenge codes and WeMuv™ pedometer, how do I start the challenge?
To start the challenge, refer to the Getting Started instructions at http://pa.wemuv.com/pa-registration/getting-started/. Setting up your class is a one time set up and will take about 10mins to complete.
I do not teach grades 3-6. Can my classroom ‘Take the Challenge’?
Yes, absolutely! The WeMuv™ PA School program is a great pedometer program for any elementary grade classroom. We welcome teachers outside of grades 3-6 to adapt the lesson plans for use within their class.
I am responsible for coordinating daily physical activity for more than one classroom at my school. Can I register more than one classroom/group?
Yes! You will need to create a different WeMuv Player for each group. This player represents the leader of the group. Create your WeMuv Players at www.wemuv.com and click PLAY and then Sign Up Now. Once you have created a player for each of your groups return to the PA Site to register each group. Click ‘Register Now’ to register a group. Submit the group and then click ‘add a new group’ to register another. Each group will require its own WeMuv Player as its leader and WeMuv pedometer.
How do my students create a WeMuv™ Player account?
They can create their account anytime by visiting www.wemuv.com. In the ‘Resource Centre’ we have included instructions you can print and provide to parents and students.
How will my students get Muv Points to play WeMuv™ during the challenge?
When you registered your group you received a list of PA Challenge group codes. This included a master code and student codes for the number of students in the group. Assign each student a PA Challenge code from the list of student codes you received. Students can create their own Free WeMuv™ Player account at
My student already has an account to play WeMuv™. Can this account be used and linked to my classroom/teacher account during the challenge?
Yes. When a student clicks on the “red foot” icon, he/she will be able to enter a unique group access code provided by the teacher at the beginning of the challenge. Once this code is entered, MuvPoints will be transferred from the teacher’s account to the student for the duration of the challenge.
My pedometer shows a scrambled set of numbers and letters. Is it broken?
No. Your pedometer is working fine. The WeMuv™ pedometer is a unique pedometer that connects with your WeMuv™ Player account to play www.wemuv.com. The pedometer records your steps and steps are converted to points to play. The scrambled set of numbers and letters is your secret code. The secret code is always changing as it captures steps with activity. To see how many points you accumulate, simply login to your WeMuv™ player account, click on the red foot and enter your secret code.
Can I view my step counts on the WeMuv ™ pedometer screen?
No. The pedometer will show your secret code and a digital clock when you press the large blue button. You must login to your WeMuv™ player account at www.wemuv.com. Press the “red foot” icon in your dock to enter your secret code to discover how many points you have received. You can also view activity charts online to see how active you are from day to day or month to month.
When I enter my pedometer code, I get an error message. What should I do?
Please re-enter the code carefully. Make sure the letters and/or numbers on the screen are entered exactly as shown. If a second attempt does not work, try shaking the pedometer and then press the large button to view a new code. Enter and submit this new code. If this fails, please send an e-mail to moderator|wemuv|com. In your message, please indicate the error message and provide your username and 2 sample 15 digit codes from your pedometer.
I broke or misplaced my pedometer. How do I get a new one?
You can order a replacement pedometer and use the PA Challenge Promo code online at www.wemuv.com. When you receive your new pedometer, simply login to your account and enter a code from the new pedometer to establish a link with your account.
Can my students to take the pedometer home during the challenge?
Yes. Teachers are encouraged to allow students to take turns recording activity using the classroom pedometer. Use school and take-home PA lesson plans to motivate students to be active and have fun during the challenge.
Do I have to upload pedometer codes to my teacher WeMuv™ Player account everyday?
No. You do not need to upload a pedometer code everyday. Your pedometer will record steps everyday and when you enter the secret code, the cumulative steps will be uploaded to www.wemuv.com.
I registered 5 or more days ago, but have not yet received my pedometer. Who should I contact?
If you registered more than a week ago, and have not received your pedometer, please contact us immediately by sending an e-mail to info|wemuv|com.
Can I use my pedometer and play WeMuv™ when the challenge is over?
Yes. We encourage all participants to continue playing WeMuv™ at the conclusion of the challenge. All accounts to WeMuv™ are free and all activated pedometers remain functional.
